The Terraces

We designed the Terraces to be an extension of the living space, merging the inside life with the outside environment.
To ensure the continuity of the living space, we maintained the highest quality finishing through from the interior of the home to the Terraces. We used travertine flooring, custom designed timber ceilings, and a bespoke surround-lighting scheme.
To maximise their functional utility we wrapped the Terraces around the entirety of the facade, and extended the depth to 3m making them ideal for relaxing, dining, or entertaining.
Beyond their 3m depth, we have specifically designed the edge of the Terraces to trail-off for 1.5m at a gradient of 30 degrees. This both enhances the view out from the Terraces, as well as maximises the shade throughout the day.
The Terraces offer every apartment at The Melgrano uninterrupted views of the canal, the sea, and the Dubai skyline.
